Tracey Emin pages

Here are my artist pages.

I visited a gallery in london so here is an exhibition guide I stuck in my sketch book.

You can open it and read it  any time :)

Here is a textiles piece I made.

This piece of work was a coincidence. I came home one day and my fiance left me a note. It reminded me of Tracey Emins work so I stuck it in my sketch book :)

Tracey Emin

In June I went to a gallery visit to see Tracey Emin. Her work is very interesting (sometimes weird). I'm particularly interested in her textile quits.

You can see some of the other work here.

Here are examples of her weird work:

And here are her quilts which I'm interested in:

Christine Elliott Grey - My work

I only done one piece of work on this page but I'm planning on doing more.

These are close ups:

Christine Elliott Grey

Christine Elliott Grey is my second artist. I chose her because I really like the way she "ties" the letters.
I wanted to explore some more textile techniques too.

You can find some of her other work here.

Fiona Banner - My artist pages

So these are my sketch book pages for Fiona Banner.

The main reason why I chose Fiona Banner as my artist is because she does letter sculpture which I really like.

Here is one of her letter sculptures:

I've done my own letters with mod rock:

I'm going to use these and photograph them in different places.
When I do, I will add pictures :)

Fiona Banner

As my first artist I chose Fiona Banner as she does both sculpture and works on canvas. These are the techniques I'm interested in exploring.

Here is some of her work that I've also seen in a gallery in London.
You can find her other work here.

Sian Martin Artist Page

So these are my first artist pages.

This is a copy of a "book" with sewed on words.

I printed out a page of words, cut them out and painted the edges.

I used these letters to create the photos below.

So these are the photos I took.
